Excellent feeling when typing. The hot swappable woks well. Just notice a little latency sometimes in Bluetooth connection
Loving it so far
This is my first mechanical keyboard in a long time. Keystrokes are very smooth and quieter than I expected (red switch, linear activation). The TKL layout is more comfortable than my previous more compact (75%) keyboard. Quality seems really good, especially considering the price.
* * * UPDATE: Two days after receiving it 3 LED's in the same column went out. Contacted Keychron support and they quickly said they'll send me out a new board. Ok. Later they said they don't have that non-swap PCB model available but they could send me a swapable PCB instead. I said Ok initially, but after realizing I'd have to buy all new switches I immediately emailed them back asking "Why don't you just replace the whole KB? There's around 10 K1 Pro's still up for sale on your website". No answer. Follow-up email again, still no reply.
I feel like I'm on my own now and stuck as-is. Tried to find another email contact at Keychron but only the same support contact can be found. Obviously this isn't right or fair. I had the KB for just a couple days before part of it failed with barely any use. This particular one is just a defective board so why should there be any problem getting them to replace it like I would expect of any other business? I'm actually really surprised with Keychron. I had firmly believed their reputation would stand behind their product and customers.
Please, is there anyone at Keychron that can help me, or am I simply left holding the bag now?
